How the Fundraiser Works
You sign up online, your child comes to class for four weeks, and at the end there's a real Graduation Ceremony. No bake sales. No order forms. No awkward asks.
Sign up online in 2 minutes. Pay securely — no checks, no envelopes, no cash for teachers to manage.
Villari's certified instructors come to the Emerson Williams Gymnasium every week for 30 minutes right after dismissal.
Weekly missions at home let students earn yellow belt stripes. Free studio classes earn bonus black stripes.
A real graduation ceremony at Villari's studio where your child shows off what they've learned. The whole family is invited.
The Fine Print (The Good Kind)
This fundraiser is designed to be completely hands-off for the school. Villari's takes care of everything.
Villari's Martial Arts Centers has been partnering with Connecticut schools since 2001. This is what we do.
What Your Child Gets
Your $49 raises money for the school — and gives your child four weeks of something genuinely valuable.
Four weeks of certified instruction from Villari's trained instructors — the same teaching approach used in their studios for over 50 years.
Every student is given their white belt at the end of the very first class, then earns stripes for it through weekly missions and free studio visits. They wear every stripe at graduation.
Not a class — a ceremony. At Villari's studio, in front of family and friends. A moment your child will remember.
Self-discipline, self-control, and respect — taught through missions they actually complete at home with you.
The Three Rules of Karate
Every lesson, every mission, and every stripe earned is connected to one of these three rules. Parents tell us they notice the difference at home within the first week.
Week 1 mission: clean your room before anyone asks. Simple. Powerful. It works.
Week 2 mission: listen the first time, every time — no second reminders needed.
Weeks 3 & 4: show real respect to a teacher and go above and beyond for your family.

Questions
Every dollar of the $49 registration fee goes directly to Emerson Williams PTO. Villari's Martial Arts Centers donates all instruction, equipment, belts, and their instructors' time at no cost to the school or families.
None at all. The program is designed for complete beginners and all ages are welcome. Villari's instructors are experienced at teaching kids of every level and temperament.
Just comfortable athletic clothes and sneakers. Villari's gives every student their white belt at the end of the very first class — after that, please bring the belt to every class, since that's how stripes are awarded. No special uniform is needed.
No problem. Students who miss a school class can attend a free makeup class at Villari's studio and still earn their belt stripe.
Graduation is held at Villari's studio. Students demonstrate what they've learned, wear the belt they were given on day one showing every stripe they earned, and celebrate with their families. The whole family is welcome — siblings, grandparents, everyone. It's a real event, not just a class.
Yes — and many do! Families who enroll in regular studio classes before or at graduation save $100 off their registration fee. Ask us at the ceremony or call (860) 667-4777.
